Same function as Nuprep, different form. The gel is already on the pad, in a sealed sachet opened at the moment of application. There is no tube left on the bench, and no cotton bud to prepare.
The benefit is twofold: the action is faster when montages follow one another, and the cross-contamination risk disappears since nothing is shared between two patients.
The pad is single use. One sachet is enough for a full montage if used site by site without letting it dry.
