Half the incompatibilities between a consumable and a system are solved with a cable. The 1.5 mm touchproof DIN 42802 connector is the standard, but older headboxes, effort modules and inductance bands often keep their own plug. An interface cable costs less than a new sensor, and it is ordered once for several years.
