Spes Medica thorax and abdomen respiration sensor

Spes Medica makes its own line of effort sensors, usable equally in thoracic or abdominal position. The same sensor serves both channels, which simplifies stock: you order one reference and a quantity, not two references to keep balanced.

Two morphologies, adult and child, each available reusable or single use. The disposable version is packed in fives, a format intended for departments that do not want to manage reprocessing on that sensor.

Connection goes through the BMDS00260R lead, common to adult and child. It is a part to order once: it lasts, and it avoids a new sensor sitting unusable for want of a cable.

As with every piezoelectric sensor, the signal is qualitative. It settles central versus obstructive apnoea, it does not measure a volume.
