Spes Medica makes its own line of flow sensors as well as distributing SleepSense. The principle is identical, the difference plays out on availability and price, and that is reason enough to know it: when a SleepSense reference is out, the Spes equivalent avoids cancelling a night.

The sensor mounts like all the others, under the nostrils and in front of the mouth, and plugs in on DIN 42802 touchproof. No adaptation is needed on a recent polygraph.

Three morphologies are available reusable: adult, child and neonate. The single-use version exists in adult, packed in threes.

The choice between the two follows the same logic as elsewhere: reusable is cheaper if the equipment comes back, single use wins as soon as the sensor leaves the lab or the department hygiene protocol requires it.
