Injecting into the right muscle requires knowing where the tip is. On a superficial, bulky muscle, anatomical landmarks are enough. On a deep or small muscle, or one surrounded by structures not to be touched, blind localisation is a gamble.

The MIOBOT needle removes the gamble. Insulated except at the tip, it records electrical activity exactly where it sits; when the signal confirms you are in the target muscle and that it contracts on request, you inject without moving the needle.

The cannula is hollow and connects to a standard syringe. The same gesture therefore serves localisation and injection, which avoids the gap between the point verified and the point treated.

Six sizes, from 13 x 0.30 mm for facial and hand muscles to 70 x 0.70 mm for deep lower limb muscles. The choice follows target depth, and a needle that is too short remains the commonest cause of a treatment without effect.
