- Description: The electrode on a stem, slid through the hair down to the scalp. Adult, child and neonate, standard or sintered.

On thick hair, a flat cup poses an old problem: contact is made not on the skin but on the hair, and impedance never comes down. You part the strands, rub, add paste, and ten minutes later the channel is still bad.

The monopod carries its active surface at the end of a stem. You push it through the hair until it touches the scalp, and contact is made in the right place first time.

This is the electrode of emergency rooms and intensive care, where a trace is needed fast and nobody has time for a full montage done by the book. It is also the one used on an agitated or uncooperative patient.

Three morphologies and two materials. Standard Ag/AgCl for everyday use, the sintered version when the fleet turns over a lot and sees repeated cleaning. The neonatal one is fitted directly, without a holder.

The container made for monopods allows them to be stored and soaked vertically, which avoids bending the stems and finding them tangled at the bottom of a tray.
