Silver silver-chloride remains the reference for long recordings. Its potential drift is low, which matters over a whole night: a gold electrode reads very well for two hours, an Ag/AgCl electrode still reads correctly at six in the morning.

The cup is perforated at the centre. It is applied empty, then paste is injected through the hole with a needleless syringe: the product pushes the air out and follows the scalp without the electrode having to be crushed down.

The 1.5 mm touchproof DIN 42802 connector is the standard on nearly every polygraph, which makes this set interchangeable between systems. The cables are colour-coded, because a twenty-derivation montage is untangled by eye, not with pliers.
