A pre-wired cap imposes its electrodes. If the department works in gold and the cap is tin, or if an electrode breaks and the whole cap has to go back, pre-wiring becomes a constraint.

The Multicap Cup decouples the two. The cap carries holders, the cups clip into them, and they are your cups: material, cable length and connector are the ones you already have. A failed electrode is replaced in thirty seconds, without taking the cap out of service.

Size coverage is the widest in the range: nine sizes from 24 to 66 cm, from the very small newborn to the adult with a large head. It is often the only cap available at either end of the spectrum.

The holders are ordered separately in sets of 23, which allows a cap to be completed or a damaged holder replaced without rebuying the whole thing.
