- Description: The blunt needle that injects gel through hair, and the electrodes that replace what a cap has lost.

The blunt needle is the tool that makes a cap usable. Mounted on a syringe, it passes through the electrode opening, parts the hair without cutting it, and lays the gel against the scalp. Its tip is deliberately blunt: a bevelled needle would injure the scalp at every position.

Three lengths, 15, 18 and 25 mm. The choice depends on hair thickness more than on the head: on thick or curly hair, 15 mm does not reach the skin.

The tin replacement electrodes are the Medcap ones. A cap loses an electrode, and without a spare the whole cap becomes unusable for full montages. With a set in stock, the repair takes a few minutes.

The tin backup electrode, on 120 cm of cable with a touchproof connector, serves the opposite case: one cap position gives nothing and has to be doubled by an independent electrode without taking the montage down.

The monopod container completes the set: it stores and soaks them vertically, which avoids bent stems and tangled cables.
